Pokémon 151 – Das ultimative Sammler-Highlight aus Japan (2023/2025)

Pokémon 151 – The ultimate collector's highlight from Japan (2023/2025)

Pokémon 151 is no ordinary set—it brings together the very first generation of Pokémon in a lovingly designed frame. Since its release in Japan on June 16, 2023, the set has captured the hearts of collectors worldwide . Releases in Taiwan and Hong Kong (June 30, 2023), as well as other Asian markets, followed .

Set highlights and card scope

210 cards in the Japanese set , while the international edition includes 207 cards.

Included: 12 Pokémon-EX, 16 Illustration Rares, and 7 particularly artistic Special Illustration Rares. The set also features 16 full-art Ultra Rares and 3 Hyper Rare Gold Holo cards—spectacular!

Japanese packs each contain 7 cards with two guaranteed holo-foils . Typically, cards have a "mirror holofoil" or, rarely, a "Master Ball" pattern . And yes: There are actually so-called "demigod packs" in which entire evolutionary lines (e.g., Charmander through Charizard) appear as Secret Cards in a booster pack – extremely rare and sought-after .

Collector's motives and values

Many cards in the set—especially Mew-ex, Mewtwo-ex, and Charizard-ex—reached record prices on the market in their first weeks of sales (approximately USD 150–170 per box ).

The nostalgia effect (Kanto originals) in combination with new mechanics (Say-Violet gameplay) makes the set extremely attractive .

Delivery & Import from Japan
Pokécado imports the booster boxes exclusively from Japan – the advantage lies in their authenticity and packaging quality. Delivery time, however, is approximately 2–3 weeks . Despite the wait, collectors receive original products directly from the market .
