About Pokécado – Your Pokémon TCG Shop Switzerland

Pokécado is not an anonymous mass retailer. Behind the shop are the two of us, a married couple from Switzerland who share a passion for Pokémon TCG. What started as a shared hobby has grown over the past 1.5 years into a shop that we run with dedication.

We know what it feels like to eagerly await a release, open a new box, or finally pull a card you have been looking for over a long time. This experience is at the heart of everything we do, because we are collectors first and retailers second.

Where does the name come from?

Pokécado comes from the Japanese ポケカ (Pokeka)—the short form of Pokémon Kādo, which simply means “Pokémon card.” It reflects our connection to the TCG and our enthusiasm for the origins of the game.

Our pricing philosophy

As long as products are regularly available through official channels, we deliberately base our prices on the recommended retail price. For limited products or products that are no longer regularly available, the price is based on the current Swiss market value—ideally slightly below it. For Japanese imports, we calculate transparently based on the purchase price, shipping, and customs costs.

What we offer

Our focus is on sealed Pokémon TCG products: Booster Displays, Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Packs, Blisters, Tins, and special items in English, German, French, and Japanese.

In-stock items are shipped within 1–3 business days. Pre-orders and Japanese imports are clearly marked with their respective shipping date.
